About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Romik Web Studios website, including its concept demo pages. Romik Web Studios (“Romik”, “we”, “us”) is a web design and development studio serving businesses in Canada and the United States.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Using this website

This website is for information. It describes our studio, our services and our work. Its content is general, isn’t advice for your specific situation, and may change without notice.

Please use the website lawfully. Don’t try to disrupt it, access parts of it that aren’t meant to be public, or send us false, automated or abusive submissions.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website, including its design, text, graphics, images, video, code, the Romik Web Studios name and the R mark, belongs to Romik Web Studios or is used with permission. Typefaces and other third-party materials belong to their owners and are used under license.

You’re welcome to view the website and share links to it. Please don’t copy, reproduce, republish or use our content or designs for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Portfolio and concept work

The work shown on this website includes self-initiated concept projects. We designed and built them to show our approach and our standard. They are not client engagements, and we don’t present them as client results.

Concept projects, case studies and demos illustrate our work. They aren’t a promise that a project for your business will look, work or perform the same way. Every project is shaped by its own written scope.

Fictional brands and demo pages

Northline Barber Co., Flowstate Plumbing, Apex Roofing Group and Evermore Stories are fictional businesses created for our concept projects. Their names, details, content and imagery are illustrative. Any resemblance to a real business or person is unintentional.

The demo pages are examples, not real businesses. Their forms and booking steps don’t send, store or book anything, and nothing you do on them creates a request or an order. Please don’t enter real personal information there.

No agreement from using this website

Using this website, sending an inquiry, emailing us or booking a consultation doesn’t create a client relationship or any obligation for you or for us. Consultations are free and don’t commit you to anything.

Information we share before a written agreement, including in a consultation or an estimate, is for discussion and isn’t binding.

Client projects

Client work begins only after we agree on a written scope with you. A separate written agreement or accepted proposal sets out the deliverables, timeline, fees, payment terms, ownership and other terms for that project. If anything in these website terms conflicts with that agreement, the agreement governs the project.

Prices shown on this website, such as “Landing pages from $499 USD”, are starting points. Your price is confirmed in your written scope and quote.

No guarantee of results

We work to build websites that look right, work well and help businesses earn trust. Results depend on many things outside our control, including your market, your competition, your offer, your content and how search engines and platforms behave. We don’t guarantee specific outcomes, such as search rankings, traffic, leads, sales or revenue.

Third-party services and links

This website links to services we don’t control, including Cal.com for booking consultations. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Availability and accuracy

We try to keep this website accurate, current and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Romik Web Studios isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of this website, your reliance on its content or your inability to use it. Our responsibilities for client work are set out in the written agreement for that project.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability or any right you have that can’t be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. If you keep using the website after a change, the updated terms apply.
